'Twas a beautiful Friday morning...
This past weekend, I was able to spend the whole weekend with my special man, Bryan Kang, to celebrate his birthday early. We decided to pack some lunch and go hiking in the morning, and end the night with some fancy schmancy Fogo de Chão.
Packing some lunch: wifey material, holla.
For hiking, we went to Los Leones Trailhead. The drive to the trail on the PCH was nice, and I was freaking stoked to eat out of the bento I recently bought. But first we had to hike up the stupid mountain... It was really really really fun. Just kidding, I do not have an athletic bone in my body so I struggled hard. The hike itself isn't that bad; I think I just suck at active things.
Our long awaited lunch! We packed 3 different types of Kimbap: ham, tuna & cheese, and kimbap & cheese. Even though I made it, I think it came out pretty well. #gibbscooks

Jump to Fogo de Chão. Food was bomb. Bryan loved the garlic steak. I liked the picanha. We both loved the cheeseballs and plantains. We shall come next time when I'm 21 (wat?). To end the night and walk around to digest, we went to the Griffith Observatory! I remember going as a little kid for a field trip and I didn't visit again unless I went for hiking (which is like never). The architecture of the observatory was really classic and the view of Los Angeles is amazing. I think I will be visiting the observatory often now.
